You know what i realised the first few chapters you can read right.....So i will do the more IMPORTANT ONES

CHAPTER 6:

Okay I guess we pretty much know the British weren't exactly the brightest when it came to planning.Especially for World War 2 but hey if we were there we might have not known aswell.So llets take a look at what went wrong.

What were our weapons like?
-BATTLESHIPS(not the ones in stars wars okay)HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse
-15 inch guns(they faced the seas)
-Military airfields(found in Sembawang and Tengah)
-Underground Bunkers(found in Fort Canning,Labrador and Sembawang)

Okay we must realise something now the majority that was protected in Singapore was the north.
Why?
Before the Japanese attacked Singapore,they attacked Malaya.If we look at the map Singpore is linked to Malaya by the north.So obviously we dont want the Japanese to pay us a visit so we protect the different paths.Such as the north,the waters and more.

British forces could not have more help.The reason why?England was under attack aswell if we realise that.

Alright we got this far let's learn about what the Japanese did.

-They had spies in Malaya and Singapore
-These spies provide them with information on British defence.
-The japanese will then know what they need to do to take the British forces down.

Now we know how smart the Japanese were time to learn a bit about British minds

-The British underestimated the japanese
-They thought of the Japanese army,airforce and navy were inferior(Boy were they wrong)

Time for analogy:
Our modern time japan country is very modernised very futuristic.
Well back then they still were.

Japanese weapons
-Modern Airforce
-Naval fleets.

-The japanese destroyed HALF of the british planes(which were outdated)

The japanese also had better training in Jungle Warfare.For transportation they used bicycles and tanks.
